As a highly experienced CEO with over two decades of experience in addiction services and mental health, Andre Mitchell has devoted his career to serving those in need. With a background as a 15-year acute care nurse specializing in trauma care, addiction services, and behavioral health, he has a deep understanding of the complexities of addiction and mental health.
Andre owned and operated one of New Jersey's first Intensive Outpatient Programs focusing on the heroin epidemic, leading the way in providing comprehensive care for individuals struggling with addiction. His dedication to excellence has been recognized by being named to the Top CEO List for 2025.
In addition to his work in addiction services, Andre has spearheaded initiatives to support veterans in need — creating a community veteran inpatient unit that specialized in treating veterans suffering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health. His commitment to serving those who are overlooked, undervalued, and disenfranchised has been a driving force throughout his career.
Andre is honored to have led New Jersey's largest inpatient detox facility to become a preferred provider for the State of New Jersey, furthering his mission to provide high-quality care for all individuals in need. As a proven healthcare leader, he takes pride in making a positive impact on the lives of those he encounters, helping them achieve a better quality of life.
